The Very Rev'd Tim Barker
After Manchester Grammar School, Queen's College Cambridge and Westcott House Theological College Tim was ordained at the age of twenty three. He held a variety of appointments in the Diocese of Chester before moving to Spalding in Lincolnshire as Vicar of St. Mary & St. Nicholas. Later he was promoted to Rural Dean with responsibility for thirty seven parishes and subsequently, in 2009, was appointed Archdeacon of Lincoln.
His expanding portfolio subsequently grew to include diocesan governance, church buildings, pastoral care & discipline of the clergy. He is a member of the General Synod, Chair of the National Archdeacons Forum & a member of the Church Buildings Council.
Oh Yes! He is also Dean of Guernsey.
